BLACKCAT 02 -> FM's NA duals, made by Thermal Research. They sound very good, a little higher pitched than Racing Beat's Duals, maybe a little racier, and they're much lighter than the RBs. On the downside, lighter means they're made of thinner tubing. Two hangers have broken off already and required re-welding. FM said I'd have to ship the exhaust back to them for warranty repair, paying the shipping myself (from here to Colorado is not cheap!), so I just paid a local stainless welder 50 bucks to fix them. I'm not terribly impressed. If I did it over again, I'd buy the cheaper, better-made Racing Beat exhaust, weight-be-damned.
BLACKCAT 02 -> 25mm front bar, 15mm rear bar. Adjustable. I started with FM's reccomended settings and have never changed them. The car corners very flat, reacts quicker to steering inputs and is easier to balance with stiffer sways. The bars are very well matched front to rear, and didn't change the character of the car. No ride penalty either.
BLACKCAT 02 -> 342 lb/in Front, 228 lb/in Rear - a good deal heavier than the stock sport (S) springs, but not to the point of being uncomfortable on the street. They lowered the car about 1.5 inches front and rear, maintaining the factory rake. The car looks naturally low, not slammed. It is low though, I've high-centered it numerous times on speed-bumps (so that's what all that underbody bracing is for!). As far as performance goes, the springs (along with dampers and sways) totally transformed the car's handling. I would say they elevated it to a higher echelon of sports cars. Its limits are higher and it's more controllable at the limit. FM did a fine job of balancing streetablility with track worthiness. I don't find myself wanting for stiffer springs at the track at all.

BLACKCAT 02 -> High temp street/track pads. Perfectly liveable on the street, no dust, but crisp and fade-free on my brake-heavy local track.
BLACKCAT 02 -> I'm a big believer in good plug wires. These ones are 8mm thick and of the appropriate resistance. There aren't many wire kits for the coil-on-plug Miatas, but this was one. My brother, who builds and destroys race motors for a living, recommended the Magnecors. I may not see a benefit now, but they'll last a long time, and when I go FI, they'll be neccessary. Plus, they're red and they look cool.
BLACKCAT 02 -> SCCA Solo 1 legal bar, high enough to clear my helmet. Mine's the black powdercoated version. It adds almost 50 lbs to the car, but roll-over protection at the track is a must, plus the stiffness it added has made a difference. The softtop is unencumbered, but the hardtop had to go (it fit, just barely, but only with the side latches removed and that was a bit sketchy). Seatbelt retraction is slightly affected, and there's a black stripe in my rearview mirror.
BLACKCAT 02 -> The Japanese Roadster badge. I don't know, just wanted to be different - there's an awful lot of Miatas around here.
BLACKCAT 02 -> Eunos' own starter button, it has a nice heavy-duty action. Plain black, with "Engine Start" inscribed on it, surrounded by a chrome ring. I've had it for almost 4 years and it's never failed.
